We have always invested in the latest image acquisition and production equipment, from the days of 16 & 35mm cinema cameras, through Betacam, DigiBeta and DVCam, to todays 4k+ technologies, in order to provide our clients with the best available future-proofing. We also take the same approach to post production - we were one of the first independent adopters of the digital NLE (non-linear editing) platform back in the mid 1990s. We are currently running seven Mac systems, including a 12-core Apple Mac Pro for our 4k workflow.

We like to spend as much time as possible with with companies who want to use our services, the better to be able to transform often quite intangible initial ideas to workable frameworks, before any production can take place. These frameworks rarely remain rigid and we are happy to adopt new ideas or directions at any point from pre-production through to delivery (assuming no large increase to costs, of course!).

We have always invested in the latest image acquisition and production equipment, from the days of 16 & 35mm cinema cameras, through Betacam, DigiBeta and DVCam, to today’s 4k+ technologies, in order to provide our clients with the best available future-proofing.

As with production we invest heavily in the latest technologies and software for our post production facilities - we were one of the first independent adopters of the digital NLE (non-linear editing) platform back in the mid 1990s.

Although we have many hours between us filming from helicopters and light aircraft (Paul is also privileged enough to have flown with the Red Arrows, filming whilst trying not to black out!) we realise that today for most aerial requirements UAVs, or drones, can fulfil the purpose.

Over the past few years an almost ubiquitous requirement for us from the construction works that we document has been to provide time lapse films. We currently have nineteen individual systems running 24/7 and have to date covered six enormous civil construction projects.

In addition to time lapse cameras we are sometimes asked to supply "live-feed" cameras, usually positioned next to the time lapse cameras in order to utilise the same power source. More often than not these cameras are PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) systems so that the end user can be given access to remotely view their site and control the cameras from a dedicated browser page that we supply with a secure URL.

We have been providing high quality photography for a large spectrum of purposes for many, many years. Our photographers are dedicated to providing the highest quality images no matter the subject matter or end use and will go beyond the call of duty to provide those images.

We were approached many years ago to produce a limited edition calendar to mark the Millennium - this involved a three week drive around the Arabian Peninsular in a 4x4 to capture the diversity and natural beauty of the region.

It would seem that in the last few years more and more constructors are required to supply monthly visual progress reports to their consultants and end-users, which is great for us. These reports will often include <50 photographs, sometimes printed and presented in albums; <20 minute video; time lapse videos (the most we have on one job is 6); and quarterly drone photography and videography.
